Residence |
Tasmania is where I live and where I've been exploring overlapping concepts of : landscape, environment and place. I aim to convey my experience of "place" from within, it rather than from a distance vantage point.
In 2018 I had the privilege of undertaking an Artist in Residence placement at Rocky Cape National Park and the Arthur-Pieman Conservation Area assisted through Arts Tasmania by the Minister for the Arts, which gave me the opportunity to immerse my self into the topography of these places. Residence: pinmatik/Rocky Cape In unrelenting stone, spaces were made, lives sustained in splendid refuge. Tracks retain the knowledge, always returning to place. |
